I have completed seven courses, developed by Google, that include hands-on, practice-based assessments that help me prepare for introductory-level roles in UX design. The process to follow from start to end accroding to the course is: empathizing with users, defining their pain points, coming up with ideas for design solutions, creating wireframes and prototypes, and testing designs to get feedback.

According to the certification: In this Specialization, learners summarized and demonstrated all stages of the UI/UX development process, and reviewed current best practices in UX design to create effective and compelling screen-based experiences for websites or apps. Learners completed a series of short exercises, both visual and non-visual, to apply acquired knowledge, from organizing and structuring screen-based content, defining goals and strategy, to creating wireframes and visual mockups. Finally, learners produced a mid-level digital prototype with simulated functionality, as well as a comprehensive plan for a complex website.

I explored graphic design elements, color theory, images, publication design and techniques for creating effective layouts. I also learned about typography, the creative process, the importance of brainstorming, and how to discuss and critique design in a professional setting. Page layout software and online sites were used to incorporate and manipulate text, color, photographs and images.
